GOLDEN MANGO AND TURMERIC SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

  • 1 fresh mango, pip removed, flesh scooped out
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric latte powder, ground turmeric or small piece of fresh turmeric
  • 1 ½ cups coconut water
  • 2 teaspoons Melrose Macadamia Spread (or your choice of Melrose nut spread)
  • 1 – 2 teaspoons Melrose Organic Flaxseed Oil
  • A few ice cubes 

Method:

Place all ingredients in high powered blender and whizz on high speed until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately. 

Tips:

If mango is out of season, use frozen mango (and omit the ice cubes) or tinned mango well-rinsed to get rid of any syrup.


You can find turmeric latte powders in health food stores or the health food aisle of your supermarket.
