Where the pH can vary is in urine. Our kidneys work to stabilise the acid alkaline balance and excess of acidity can have detrimental effects. What we consume affects this balance, therefore ingredients found in essential greens including wheatgrass, barley grass, spirulina and chlorella assist the acid-base balance by alkalising the pH levels in the kidneys and blood, resulting in positive benefits for the whole body.
