Hummus to the Max

Hummus is already a favourite delicious and healthy snack, but we’ve made it even more nutritious with the addition of our Flaxseed Oil. Flaxseed oil adds a great depth of flavour to the hummus along with the benefits of plant-based omega-3.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas drained
  • 3 tablespoons flaxseed oil or Omega oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 generous squeeze of lemon
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

Method:

1. Blitz it all in a blender until it’s like a thick shake consistency.


2. Pour it into a container or bowl and serve with flat bread pieces and carrot sticks.

Tips:

Great after school snack and an awesome lunchbox addition.
