Ingredients:
- 1 large bunch fresh basil leaves
- 3 garlic cloves
- 4 tablespoons pine nuts, toasted
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 2 teaspoons Melrose Organic Essential Greens Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/3 cup Melrose Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ½ lemon, juiced (or more to taste)
Method:
- Combine basil, garlic, pine nuts, nutritional yeast and Melrose Organic Essential Greens Powder in the bowl of a food processor. Season with salt and with the motor running, slowly add in Melrose Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and lemon juice until it reaches your desired “chunkiness”.
Taste test and add more salt or lemon if required.
Store in an airtight glass container in the fridge for 5-7 days.
