The best liquid hand soap ever. Leaves my hands feeling soft, refreshed and moisturised. I wish I had discovered this product years ago. It can also be used as a body soap.
Melrose Liquid Castile Soap is a vital alternative to the supermarket so-called "Hand Wash" products, that are in fact DETERGENTS that remove the protective fat layers in the skin epidermis, exposing the skin to, both,
over-hydration and under-hydration. "Hand Wash" (Hand Detergent) generally causes hand skin to dry-out, despite the FALSE claims by the hand detergent manufacturers that their products "moisturise" the skin.
If I use hand detergent (so-called "Hand Wash") my hands immediately feel dry and itchy and later the skin cracks and peels.
The term "Hand Wash" is also very bad grammar, typical of USA marketeers, who need to go back to school. The word "Wash" is actually a verb, NOT a noun, so there is really NO SUCH THING as a "Hand WASH". They should be truthful and call their product what it actually is - 'Hand DETERGENT".
Melrose Liquid Castile Soap is better than the traditional (USA) Dr Bronners Liquid Castile Soap as, unlike Dr Bronners, it is Australian made and DOES NOT contain PALM or PALM SEED OIL. I will now always use Melrose Liquid Castile Soap.
I had been buying the Melrose 'Lavender' Liquid Castile Soap, which is only available in a pump bottle, which meant I was getting an unnecessary new pump each time. As the pumps contain a steel spring, they are not allowed to be placed in kerbside recycling bins. Now I will just buy the 'Original' refills to cut-out pump wastage, and pour the soap from the refill bottle into a re-used lavender pump bottle, adding my own moderately-priced lavender oil.
Lovely product.
Great product. I donโt use anything else.
Thanks Melrose Health.
